No, some other artists painted pictures of Van Gogh.  Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Emile Bernard, Francis Bacon, and many other artists all painted pictures of Van Gogh. Paul Gauguin even painted one.

No, Van Gogh lived in Arles. Arles had extremely strong wind speeds, and many people got heat stroke because of the sun's rays. Van Gogh kept getting heat stroke. It wasn’t abnormal to go crazy in Arles. He was also addicted to absinthe, a very popular but dangerous drink.

Theo died 6 months after Vincent. He died from a rare kidney infection. He was buried right next to Vincent in a new cemetary on the edge of a wheat field.  Vincent finished a painting called Crows Over a Wheatfield just before his death.

Yes, he killed a moth to paint it. It was a very detailed painting.

Yes, most recently, two paintings were stolen in Italy on July 5,1998. They were Madame Ginoux and a Portrait of a Young Peasant (also known as The Gardner).

When he saw Japanese paintings, he thought the bright colors looked pretty, so he started using colorful paints.
