Steamed Shrimp

Ingredients
| 2-3 lbs. large shrimp |
| Old Bay Seasoning, to taste (optional) |
Preparation
In a large pot, add 2 gallons water and Old Bay Seasoning. Bring to a brisk boil. Add shrimp. Cover. Cook 3-4 minutes. Stir. Cook an additional 2-3 minutes. Check shrimp for pinkness. If necessary, cook an additional 2 minutes until all shrimp are bright pink. Using slotted spoon, remove immediately into colendar.
Serve hot or chilled with cocktail sauce. Serves 6-8 people.
