MAJOR NATURAL RESOURCES

The major natural resources of Nova Scotia include coal, gypsum, and salt. Other resources are barite, clay, copper, peat, sand and gravel, stone and zinc. Some petroleum and natural gas have been discovered under the Atlantic Ocean.
