The large animals in British Columbia are the brown bear, black bear, moose, cariboo, elk, deer, bighorn sheep, mountain goat, and the lynx.
The small animals in British Columbia are beaver, marten, minx, and the otter. Also found are verious specesof frogs, toads, and different snakes which include rattlesnakes in the southern interior.
The waters on the coast are full of salmon, herring, tuna, and shellfish. Trout, pike, and surgon are important sport fish in most of the main rivers.
