New Brunswick

New Brunswick is one of the three maritime provinces and 1 of the four Atlantic provinces. It is joined to Nova Scotia by the narrow isthmus of Chignecto. It entered the Canadian Confederation on July 1, 1867. The economy is based on forestry, mineral resources, service, and manufacturing. It is named for the British royal family of Brunswick-Luneburg (the House of Hanover). New Brunswick is call the Loyalist Province. p>
