MAJOR NATURAL RESOURCES

Quebec has many natural resources. Minerals found in the Canadian Shield include gold, silver, copper, and zinc. Other base metals are found in Roreyn, Noranda, and Vald'Or. A rich iron-ore deposit can be found in the Labrador Trough. Other minerals include niobium, lithium, titanium dioxide, and dolomite.
