Ontario is the second largest province. It is 1,068,580 sq. km. (412,579 sq. mi.). It is 1000 miles wide and 1050 miles long. The highest point of elevation is at Ishpatine Ridge. Is is 2275 feet high. The lowest point is at sea level at James Bay. The shoreline of Ontario covers 4,725 miles along 4 of the 5 Great Lakes.
