The Yukon Territory is 483,450 square kilometers or 186,660 square miles. It is the eighth largest territory. Most of the Yukon's land is owned by the federal goverment. It is shaped like a triangle and is approximately 650 miles long and 580 miles wide. The lowest point in the Yukon is at sea level and the highest point is 19,524 feet at the top of Mount Logan. This is the second highest peak in North America.
