Toronto is the capital of Ontario and is the financial and cultural center of Canada. Toronto is the largest metropolitan area in Canada. The city is part of the Golden Horseshoe and has all of the largest banks and insurance companies. The Toronto Stock Exchange is one of the largest in North America.
The city is an important part of the Saint Lawrence Seaway and is served by major railroads and by Pearson International Airport. Sites to visit while in Toronto are McLaughlin Planetarium, Ontario Science Centre, and the Art Gallery of Ontario.
