To you this is probably just a normal city right....... Well it may be for you but not for some of the Hawaiian islands. Lots of people are signing petitions against things like destroying a marsh swamp or building over a lake. One of the main reasons is because many of Hawaiian people want to preserve the Hawaiian islands as much as possible. The problem is that there are so little people that are full Hawaiian that barely anybody listens to them. That's why we should prevent builders from building and building. It's just as easy as the program where whenever you cut down a tree you plant a new one. Because if we don't keep any of Hawaii's ponds and lakes it's just as important as Hawaiian artifacts like the capes and the many beautiful treasures then there will be no interesting history about Hawaii. |
