Over two hundred years ago the Spanish Lynx roamed across Europe and Asia. Human population wiped out most of the cats. They were reintroduced in five countries with rare success. Hunters and sheep farmers did not like it when they arrived, they thought that they would kill livestock and game. They are endangered because of over hunting.
