It Looks Greek To Me

Did you ever notice how Ancient Greece still influences modern learning in the classrooms of the 20th century? Through this project, our team will investigate and explore the impact Greece has had on Western Civilization.

This site will take you on a journey that will show you what our team has discovered about Greece's contributions to the world of math, architecture, commerce, religion, literature, the arts, and the relationship they have to our interdisciplinary curriculum of today.

A few of the activities our site will allow you to participate in are: an art project that lets you become an artist by creating an original pottery design using Greek motifs, learn about ancient architecture and design your own Greek temple using pieces we have for you, participate in an investigation that will allow you to apply ancient Greek math concepts to solve real world problems, travel back in time to Mount Olympus and learn about Greek gods through an interactive quiz, and an illustration of how today's society has been impacted by borrowing from Greek culture. After visiting our site, "If It Looks Greek to You", you'll KNOW if it is!
