Gold Fish
You can find gold fish in homes, ponds, and sometimes in schools. Gold fish
behave differently when they're with another fish. When alone, it swims faster.
Can Fish Sleep?
Like cats
take catnaps, and dogs sleep, fish also need to rest. When fish sleep they stay very
still. Fish never get in very deep sleeps, even the slightest wave or movement can wake
the fish up. Fish do not have eyelids. Some fish use their fins to balance themselves in
the water. These fish sleep without resting against something.
Goldfish
sleep this way. Some goldfish like to sleep on the bottom of the ocean. Most kinds rest on
their bellies, but Tiger Fish like to lay on their sides. There is also a fish called
Slippery Dick, a fish found in coral reefs, it likes to sleep under a sand blanket, which
it makes by burrowing under the sand.
