Hi! My name is Matt. These chapters are about me and my Indian friend, Attean.

When my father left me to get my family, I had to manage being alone and get my own food.   While he was gone, I met two Indians who became my friends.

Here are some things that I did while my father was gone.  I got chased by bees, killed a bear, went to an Indian celebration, and a bear broke into my cabin and took my flour and salt.  I also got a dog as a gift, and learned how to grow corn next to my cabin.  I let a man in my house, provided him with food and shelter, and he took my gun.
