Summary: Now that Matt's father is gone, there are lots of things to do.  Today, there was no time to play but plenty of work to do for Matt.  Matt had to chase crows out of the cornstalks, chop wood, and kill his food by himself.

Today I had to chase all the crows off of the cornstalks that I grew by the tree next to the house.  Today has been a busy day.  I had many chores to do and so little time.  There is no time for me to play.
