feedbackI was checking out the site.It is a very nice web site with alot of info.
feedbackI thought that your website was excellent. However I have 1 Question to ask, What was Cortez's role in finding the 7 cities of gold? I was told that Cortez was the one who searched for "Cibola,"which is what the Spanish called the Seven cities of gold. He came into what is now Arizona, in his search, is what I was told.
feedbackI thought your website was extremely informative and I learned alot. The only thing that I would add is why Montezuma welcomed Cortez so graciously, he thought Cortez was a certain "great white" Aztec god.

feedbackI was wondering.....Maybe you can but a man in named Samuel de Champlain.I learned about him......I'll tell you what I know about him so if you put him on this site you would know. Samuel de Champlain Samuel de Champlain(1567?-1635)a french explorer and founder of Quebec. He was called the Father of New France.Samuel de Champlain sailed to Canada and Acadia,(Which is now Maine)for the first time in 1603 searching for a site for colonization. His explorations led him down the Atlantic Coast to Massachusetts Bay, whichn he mapped in detail.Among explorers, he was one of the best cartographers. I have to go so wright back to me if you want more imformation on Samuel de Champlain. I'm in 4th grade, blonde hair, green eyes and I like to read, play video games, drawing and to write. I love me school, and I want the world to know! April Lynn Donohue

feedbackYou stated that there would be information about Louis Jolliet, but there was not. He was only written about as a sideline to father Marquette.
feedbackI liked the way the explorer seems to be talking to me. I also like the facts from the editor. But in my studies about Columbus I am trying to find out what an "astrolabe" is and what did Columbus use it for? Can you please help me in fining the answer. This may also be a good idea to include in your site. The uses of instruments the various explorers used, what they look like etc. Thanks, Steven |
