The Titanic Disaster is considered one of the greatest sea disasters ever. It happened on April 14, 1912. There were approximately 2,000 people on board and after the sinking, there was a death toll of about 1,522 people. The Titanic sank, because it roughly brushed against a side of an iceberg, even though it was considered the "unsinkable ship".
