The transition to agriculture started in Norway about - 5000-6000 years ago, initially in the area around the Oslofjord.  By the bronze age it is the farmer's cultural believes that dominate archeological finds, particularly in south Norway.  Finds from this same period in north Norway show that the people where hunters, at many locations in foreign Finnmark there were sizeable settlement of hunters, clear proof of these reasonable cooperation between many people.
