You can tell when a dog is angry by looking and telling if his or her ears are down, and if it curls its lips into a snarl so you can see its teeth. Another way to tell that a dog is angry is that the hair on its back rises so that it looks like the hair is standing up.
Wolves do the same thing since they are wild dogs. They put down their ears and bare their teeth, but in their case, they are communicating with their prey.
If you run away from a domestic dog while it is growling at you, the dog will chase you and it MIGHT attack if you are in its territory. So if I were you I would stay of their territory and stay away from mean dogs.
How does a dog talk
Dogs make all kind of sounds. Whines, barks, growls, and many others. This is how a dog talks. The thing that is really important is that a dog has an understanding master. Very few animals can understand human speech, but some dogs have learned to respond to 150 human words! Communication is a real key to relationships. It's possible for dogs to show emotions all the way from love to hate by the sounds it makes. But of course everyone Knows dogs can't really talk human talk.
