Finger Coral

Finger Coral has fingers- like branches and shallow snowflake-shaped calices.  It Lives in wave protected areas like bays or deeper reef slopes in depths of about 150 feet.  Color of live finger corals ranges from light brown to light yellowish-green.  Finger coral can be found around the islands of Hawaii. 

Plate Coral

Plate Coral are rigid corals with a hard skeleton, turning over, it's bottom is like a pie-plate, lots of them are white on the bottom.

FLEXIBLE CORALS- SOFT CORALS
( ALCYIBARUA)

Soft corals also classified as "false corals" are of a feathery appearance.  They sway in the ocean current they have flexible internal skeleton.  So they can bend without breaking. 

Sea Fans
They look like flattened buses-grow so they face right into the current.  Home to many animals that match the color of the fan.

Forms : taller than a single man, edible material inside    polyp

Feather Duster

 
Color : vibrantly colored
Forms : feather duster on floor, tentacles multiple of 8,    horny substance in the form of rods that are scattered
