Uniforms
The Union wore uniforms like the Confederates, but thay of course wore a different color which was blue. In there uniform style they wore loose flannel, sack coats, blue woolen trousers and a coat. Their rank was determined by frock. On their feet they wore black brogan shoes.They also wore hats with a buckle on it. There were a variety of buckles.
