Marijuana is a mind-altering drug. Marijuana can also be referred to as ; "pot", "weed", "grass", and "reefers". Students who use Marijuana may have difficulty remembering things and may be dull, slow and may gain weight. They will soon become dependent on the drug. Marijuana is a product you can get cheap on the street by a drug dealer. An effect of marijuana is, changes in feelings and thoughts. Marijuana contains more than 400 chemicals. When smoked it produces over more than 2,000 chemicals that enter the body through the lungs. Most people start using marijuana between the ages 12 and 18. They try the drug because of curiosity. Some people believe that marijuana improves their talents and capabilities. Short-term physical effects of marijuana include redness in the eyes and rapid heartbeat. It also interferes with a person's judgment and coordination. Therefore, driving while in the time of using marijuana is very dangerous.
