          The Romanov family ruled the territory of the Russian Empire for over 300 years.  They ruled from St. Petersberg to the icy expanses of Siberia.  The Romanovs  dedicated their lives to unite the greater part of Asia ruled under the Russian flag.
       The Romanovs had many problems of their own. Through many   years the Romanovs led the empire through family disputes, political arguments and  wars of many kinds.  Although the Romanovs had many problems they still remained in power. They also enjoyed a lavish and luxurious lifestyle.
       The legacy of the Romanov Family ended during the power of Tsar Nicholas II . Nicholas II was a loving and caring person ,he hated politics and trusted the officials to answer too many decisions. His efforts were to help the Russian population but failed. The people began to resent the Romanov’s wealth.

OLGA

         Olga had the lightest hair, blonde, and dark blue eyes. Olga was very thin and willowy. She was naturally graceful, delicate in her movements and very polite in public. Since her mother  selected all of her clothes, Olga had little choice in what she wore. When she was 16 she was allowed to create her own wardrobe, which was hardly different than Tatiana
          Olga was the most independent of the sisters and had a bad temper! She gave people orders without  thinking of the effect of her words.  The Empress found Olga hard to discipline. Olga talked back and even yelled at her mother. She was as stubborn as a mule. Her tutors thought she was the most intelligent of her siblings. Olga died during the revolution with her family.

MARIA

 Maria had light brown hair, blue eyes, and cheeks that were rosy. In her teens she became she became extremely beautiful. She wasn't very elegant like the others were. She was bold, and wasn't afraid of meeting new people.  She was also easy to start a conversation with.  As the third child she had a tough time as a toddler and ended up being mocked by her sisters.
 When Maria was sixteen people noted how much younger she acted. During school she mostly daydreamed.  She loved to think of what it would be like to be an adult and being married.  She also liked talking to any kind of people.  During the war, Maria was too young to be a nurse, so in her free time, she played with a pet mouse who lived in the wall of her bedroom.

TATIANA

 Tatiana had dark features, spaced gray eyes, and dark brown hair.    She was very charming and graceful.  Old photographs don't do justice to her beauty.  People said she was like her mother in many ways.  She was excessively thin , and had an attitude and posture of a princess.  Tatiana’s voice was elegant and aristocratic.  Tatiana loved to write letters.  Friends were very important to her.  Few people found it hard to forget her.  People found Tatiana extremely attractive.  During the war, Tatiana became a nurse like her mother and sister.

ALEKSEY 

 Aleksey was the youngest of them all.  He had a deadly disease called hemophilia. Which is a disease that is mostly found in boys, and  can make them die of blood loss. He had very light brown hair and brown eyes.  He was heir to the Russian thrown.  He and Anastasia had a very close relationship as brother and sister.  They were just like best friends.  They also liked playing games with each other.
