Princess DianaDiana Frances Spencer was born on July 1, 1961. She was the third child and daughterof Edward John and Frances Foche. Diana loved ballet, swimming,and tennis. When she was in boarding school she loved to run errands for an elder woman in a village and volunteering at a home for the mentally and physically handicapped. She finished school and moved to London. Diana soon got work at a local kindergarten class.
Diana first met prince Charles when he was dating her sister Sarah. Reporters welcomed the announcement on February24, 1981, that Prince Charles was going to marry a 19 year old kindergartenteacher. Their first son William was born on June 21,1982. Henry, their second son, was born on September 15, 1984. She started to speak out for the sick, the destitute, and the elderly. The marriage between Charles and Diana soon ended.
After the divorce Diana threw herself into many things. Some of those things were AIDS, the homeless, battered women, promoted the Red Cross, and tried to put anend to land mines. On August 31, 1997 Diana was sent over to a hospital after she had been in a car accident. A few hours later she was dead. She accomplished many things in her life.
