Canaries

Canaries are also a popular pet bird. They are known for their beautiful singing, although they are unable to speak.

Because the males have stronger voices and sing more than the females, they are called the "Kings of Songsters."

Canaries have been bred since the sixteenth century. They can be found in the homes of their owners or flying around freely in the wilderness all over the world.

Canaries prefer to be handled by their owners, flying freely around the house (because they are very active), or hanging around inside their cages.

Most canaries come in a yellow color, but some can be very colorful. Others can come in brown, pink, orange, or some with a little bit of red in them. When it comes to eyes, the males' eyes are more bright and distinct.

All Canaries are small sized. They, too, need to be properly taken care of with clean cages and plenty of water for bath-taking so that they can live a healthy and happy seven to fifteen years.
