EAGLES


              Bald Eagles

              Eagles are buteos. They have thick wings. The flight profile of a bald eagle is straight. Eagles soar and glide. Eagles have long and powerful wings. Immature males are all black. Males are more stealthy (which means quiet or secret, so as not to be seen or heard) and faster than females. Females are larger, stronger, and bolder than males. Bald Eagles usually eat fish but will eat rodents or birds. They live in North America.

              Golden Eagle

              Golden eagles are also buteos with thick wings. The flight profile is straight. Golden Eagles eat animals heavier then Golden Eagles can carry. They eat farm animals too.Golden Eagles live in western North America, Scotland, northern Europe, and the moutains of Asia.
