| The S.A.V.E. (STUDENTS AGAINST VIOLATING the EARTH) group is a team of high school students in the Souderton Area School District whose goal is to educate the community about the environment. In order to reach this goal, they have built Project E.F.F.E.C.T., an environmentally friendly house. They raise community awareness in other ways, too, and have big plans for the future. | ![]() |

The first thing that you have to do is get people interested in the program - that is, when you have a group like the S.A.V.E. group here, says group member Beth. | WHAT ARE THEIR FUTURE GOALS?
The S.A.V.E. group wants to go to the Rain Forests and help children there. They want to educate the children about the habitat around and help them clean up the environment around them. They hope to inform and teach the children so they will continue to protect the forests and teach other people when they visit them. The S.A.V.E. group also wanted to add on to the kids school so they would have more room for classrooms and other different things. |
