Hercules

By-Amber

It's the fifth largest constellation, and if you've never seen it, then you might not know where to look, because it isn't very obvious.

Hercules was named after the great Greek Goddess Hera. Her name means "Lady." She was the daughter of Cronus and the sister of Zeus (they were twins). This sister ended up marrying her brother, and he killed her.

Hercules became a favorite with the Gods. Apollo made his bow and arrows. Athena gave him a beautiful robe. Hermes gave him a sword, and Castor, the greatest warrior, taught him how to use all of his gifts.

In the winter, four stars are visible. In the summer, six stars are visible.
