Squids

A squid is a cephalaopod. It's size ranges from two inches to fifty feet. The giant squid is the largest of all invertebrates. Squids have eyes that are similar to humans.

When a squid is endangerd, it emits a large cloud of ink.

After a squid lays babys, it dies soon afterward. Squids are called embryos when they are layed. The embryo are are often eaten by gray rays. (Thus the gray ray has been nicknamed, "the ray of death.") Although billions of embryo have been saved, twenty percent of the embryos die before they are hatched. Squid eggs hatch in about a month's time. The fortunately for the squids, eggs taste bad to humans.
