Whales are one of the many cetaceans in the Astounding Atlantic Ocean. Whales vary in their size. They can be anywhere from thirty meters to nine meters long. There are two kinds of whales, toothed and baleen. Only toothed whales can send a high pitched siren sound like an ambulance or police car. This sound helps them find their prey more quickly. Whales have an excellent sense of hearing. They can hear little sounds to find out which way to go and where things are. Whales are also very intelligent. Whales travel in herds or pods. The herds or pods spend most of their time swimming, diving, and frolicking through the cool water of the Atlantic.
