One day I came home from school. My mom told us we had to get in the car and go to get our haircuts. After we had our haircut, we went to Subway to get somthing to eat. Then we finally went home.

When we got home my dad and I went to the Hobbie Shop. We left my mother and my brother home. While I was gone my brother went out to take my Golden Retriever, Jake, for a walk down the road.

When we got home my mom told me that Jake was hit by a big truck. He had died. After a while, we knew we just had to get over his death.
