An Interview with an FBI Agent

We interviewed a female agent from our local FBI office. We had an opportunity to meet and interview the agent. She was nice, knowledgeable, and funny. She told us her badge and equipment. She also showed us her camera, binoculars, bullet proof vest, her FBI jacket, and her gun.

How do you become an FBI agent?

An applicant has to be between the ages of 25-37, have a college 4-year degree, and at least 3 years of full time work experience. They are particularly looking for people that know different languages, car specialists, lawyers and other specialists.

How long have you been an FBI agent?

2 Years.

What was one of your scariest cases?

I'm not allowed to discuss my cases.

Do you have any cases about UFO's?

No. But some people ask if my name is Scully or Mulder.(laughs)

Why did you choose this occupation?

When I was a lawyer I found investigating more challenging. So I decided to change jobs.

Do you like being a FBI agent?

Yes. My kids think it's cool. You have to be a good secret keeper. It's part of my job to protect the U.S.

Why or why not?

It's fun!

Have you ever solved a kidnapping case?

Yes! I helped investigate the case.
