A- Wal-Mart home office in Bentonville.

Q- What do you do?

A- Information System Division.

Q- What is your name?

A- Mr.Randell Mott.

Q- Why did you pick your job?

A- Because I thought it would be a good opportunity in doing something challenging.

Q- Do you own your own business?

A- No

Q- What is the hardest thing about your job?

A- Just keeping up with the growth and changes in the company, and supporting the business.

Q-Do you own your own business?

A-Yes.

Q-What do you do?

A-I'm a Decorater and a Floral Designer.

Q-Where do you work?

A-Out of my home.

Q- What surprised you the most about your business.

A-What surprised me was how many people called me just by word of mouth.
 
Q-What were some obstacles for you?

A-My seamstress made a mistake on a very expensive window treatment.
 
Q.- What was it like starting your own business?

A.- It was very scary at first, wondering if I would be successful or not.  Slowly and gradually I gained more confidence.

Q.- Why did you pick your job?

A.- I had always worked as a retail manager, buyer, and florist.  When my husband and I divorced, I had to come up with a career that could be very flexible for me and my two children that are very active in and out of school.

Q.- What important advise would you give someone that is starting a business?

A. - Determine how much money you'll need to start your business.  Work out an advertising strategy and think about how many hours a week you'll have to work.
