Just keeping up with the growth and changes in the company, and supporting
the business.

surprised me was how many people called me just by word of mouth.

seamstress made a mistake on a very expensive window treatment.

What was it like starting your own business?
A.- It was very scary at first, wondering if I would be successful or not. Slowly and gradually I gained more confidence.
Q.- Why did you pick your job?
A.- I had always worked as a retail manager, buyer, and florist. When my husband and I divorced, I had to come up with a career that could be very flexible for me and my two children that are very active in and out of school.
Q.- What important advise would you give someone that is starting a business?
A.
- Determine how much money you'll need to start your business. Work
out an advertising strategy and think about how many hours a week you'll
have to work.
