EDUCATION
- Do you
want to become a marine biologist or an oceanographer?? Well you have to
go to collage. (Duh) You can study at a graduate or an under graduate level.
We know what your thinking ' more school!' but it's well worth it.
Some of the courses you'll have to take will be of course A
LOT of biology, but biology isn't the only course. You'll also have
to take physics, mathmatics up to celcious, and geology. Some warnings to
you now you'll have to go to school for about 6 yrs. before you get your
masters degree. Of course you'll be MUCH better
off getting a P.H.D.
If you get a Ph.D.. you'll probably
an additional 7 yr.. of school.(If you have asthma, smoke, or any
type of heart or lung problem don't waste 13 yrs.. of your life going to
these courses, at least to become an oceanographer. You have
learn scuba diving also, to become an oceanographer. Which is almost inevitable
with these problems. sorry!)All
of this is well worth it to become an oceanographer.
