Boats at the Fair
The Fair had many different kinds of boats that
traveled along the waterways at the Fair. Boats
were one way people could get around the Fair's
1,272 acres.

Bi-State Bus
The Bi-State Bus Company has many routes
throughout the St. Louis Metropolitan Area.
Passengers can get a bus ride to Forest Park from
almost anywhere in the St. Louis area.

Intramural
Railroad
This railroad ran throughout the 1904 World's
Fair area. This is one of the train stations in
Forest Park.

MetroLink
The MetroLink is St. Louis's light rail system.
The MetroLink runs from St. Louis's airport to East
St. Louis in Illinois. It makes many stops along
the way and one stop is Forest Park. Construction
is currently underway to extend MetroLink to Mid
America Airport outside of Scott Air Force Base in
Illinois.

Bellefontaine Street Car
(Trolley)
This street car brought people from the northern
city limits, where they could transfer to another
trolley and get to Forest Park for the 1904 World's
Fair. This street car was pulled by horses.

Shuttle Bug
The Forest Park Shuttle Bug has two stations in
Forest Park. For $1.25, passengers can ride the bug
all day and be taken to all of the attractions in
Forest Park.

Electric Street Car
(Trolley)
Many people came to the 1904 World's Fair on the
electric street car, also known as a trolley. The
streetcar ran on rails laid in city streets. The
street car was a major means of transportation for
people in 1904.

Call-A-Ride
This is a service offered to people within the
St. Louis Metropolitan Area. For a small fee
passengers can call and have this small bus pick
them up and take them to their desired destination.

Golf Cart
Golf carts can be rented at the two golf courses
in Forest Park.

|
|
Modern Car
Most people drive themselves to Forest Park in
their own car. All of the attractions in Forest
Park have plenty of parking for visitors.
