We took a trip to Bellefontaine Cemetery on January 26th, 1999. We weren't sure how big the cemetery or the headstones would be. We found them much bigger than we imagined. Looking for the stones was like hide and seek, because it took a long time to find them. Stones in a cemetery are as unique as the people buried there. Some stones in the cemetery were tall, short, fat, or skinny. Some headstones were so tall you could barely see the top of them! Some of the tombstones were buried in the ground. All you could see was the top part.

On the trip to Bellefontaine Cemetery we photographed parts of the cemetery that fit into the outline of our web site. We also took pictures of the cemetery that we found interesting. Some of these pictures did not have a place in the our web so we decided to make a page called scrapbook. The scrapbook contains cool pictures we wanted to share with you.
