Llamas were first found in South America where they are to this day. Some soon ventured into North America. Then crossed the land bridge into Asia where they are today. Scientists have recently discovered llama fossils in the Southwestern part of the U.S. When the llamas came over the land bridge they went down to the mountains and then multiplied and now they are in Asia and South America. You can find llamas in your local zoos today and also at you nearest llama breeders.
