Bloodlines can be very important. A bloodline shows a llama's mother, father and grandparents. Bloodlines often determine whether of not your llama is worth anything. If you are selling or breeding your llama people may want to see your llamas bloodlines and make sure there are not any genetic defects and for other reasons. If your llama is related to a llama that was an excellent show llama the bloodlines will most likely show it.
