Reptiles are very different than common animals. They are cold-blooded
animals that
adjust
to the climate around them. Reptiles live in all conditions, but do not
live in the continent of Antarctica. There are four major types of reptiles:
turtles, snakes, crocodilians, and lizards. There are 6,360 species of
reptiles in the World. There are 25 species of crocodilians,
335 species of turtles, 2,900 species of snakes, and 3,000 species of lizards.
