Mother Teresa had fairly good health until she experienced a heart attack while visiting Pope John Paul II in 1983. In 1989, she had another heart attack that nearly killed her. She got pneumonia in Tijuana, Mexico, in 1991. On September 5, 1997, Mother Teresa died at the age of 87. God used a tiny person to make a big difference in many people's lives.
