After the Escapes
After Harriet Tubman's great escapes she had many jobs. She helped a lot in the Civil War. She was a nurse, a scout, and a spy for the Union Army in South Carolina. After that she raised money for needy black schools. In 1908, she started the Harriet Tubman Home for needy blacks.
