Clara Barton

Clara Barton, the founder of the Red Cross, was a great influence to the rest of the world. She was caring but had few friends during her childhood. This hindered her when she went away to boarding school.She also accomplished many things during her adulthood. She was one of the first women workers in a patent office in Washington D.C. Clara was very courageous, brave, and She also was very successful during her later life. She was alway prosperous and received many letters and medals from people who appreciated her work for America. Her death was caused by sickness.
