The life of Clara Barton was coming to an end. She was getting more and more letters from fans and from people who had missing relatives. But she was also getting more and more sick. Clara died on April 12, 1912, in Glen Echo, Maryland. She died of pneumonia at the age of ninety. But her dream did not die.
