Brent Brede
This page is dedicated to an interview with a baseball player that moved from the Minors to the Majors.
Q: What obstacles did you have to overcome to get to where you are today?
A: None really. God blessed me with talent and I've worked hard to develop it.
Q: What differences did you see when you transferred from the Minors to the Majors?
A: The main differences were the size of crowds and ballparks and the level of play. Crowds were much larger and the other players were much better.

A: It lasts 4 months, from October to February. I spend the majority of my time hunting and preparing for the next season by working out and staying in shape.
Q: What is a normal week like during baseball season ?
A: Well, a normal day goes like this, you can multiply it by 7 if you want. Awake at 10:30 a.m./Eat lunch around 1:00 p.m./ Go to the ballpark about 2:30 p.m./ Pre-game and Game until 11:00 p.m./ Eat and go home.
Q: What do you plan on doing next season?
A: I'm playing next season in Japan in the Japanese major leagues.

A: Minimum salary is $200,000 and the maximum is unlimited/ some players make over 10 million a year.
Q: Do you have time for your family and friends?
A: Yes, although not as much as I would like. I travel a lot therefore don't see them as much as I would like to.
Q: Do you have a wife/kids?
A: Wife- Lisa
Q: What do you like most about baseball?
A: I like to compete- that's basically what I do for a living- compete against someone else.
Q: Some players have always had that dream to become a BB player. Others just decided to be a player when someone said they were a good player. What about you?
A: I've always wanted to be a big leaguer- ever since I was old enough to go to a Cardinals' game.
Q: What position do you play?
A: Left field or right field, sometimes first base.
Q: Do you make a lot of friends?
A: Quite a few, although I only keep in touch with a couple.
Q: Who influenced you to become a BB player?
A: My father, he always spent time with me to help me become a better player.
