Chief Cheese had his men come over and investigate the scene of the crime. He walked over to DD. and started to tell her the awful truth to her has she cried. Chief Cheese told her that they think the bee that called her stole half of the money when she was outside her shop waiting for her shop to blow up. "What" DD. exclaimed "I have never heard of such a daring plan". The next day DD. caught some bee trying to steal her purse but she was too quick for the bee. She gave him her best left [left hand punch]. While the bee was recuperating DD. had another rat call security. She sat by him making sure he would not escape. The bee got an idea so he put it in action. This is what he did, he pretended to faint. Now this fooled DD.. She slowly let go of him but right after she had let go of him he jumped up and started to run to the nearest staircase that lead to the exit. DD. ran after him and blocked the staircase that he was running to. The thief was looking at DD. and giving her a smirk that said Ha ha I got away. He was heading toward his escape exit so he did not see a police rat blocking the staircase. He fell into his arms like a baby. He groaned and followed him out the door. When DD. went to the police station the judge told her that the bee (his name was Jo,) owed her $20.25 for pretending to faint, $50.75 for stealing, and $49.00 for trying to run away.
