The Green Anaconda is a pretty amazing reptile . The Green Anaconda's family is the Boidae. The Boidae consumes of most anacondas. The weight of the snake about 300lbs. It is the heaviest snake in the world and it is the longest snake in the western hemisphere. The length of the Green Anaconda is about 18-25 feet long. The Green Anaconda is one of the most dangerous animal in the world but it is based in South America.

The Green Anaconda kills their prey by a sufficating embrace. It can consume over 300 times its daily food. That means it can eat more than it is supose to eat. It's stomach has extraodinary capacity. It hunts and kills its prey by steps. Step one: it moves slowly in the water as close as it could possibly be to the other creature. Step two: The his neck rears up and whips foward and it's teeth fasten to the creature. Step three:The snake loops around the animal and sqeezes until it is dead. Step four: The Green Anaconda dislocates its jaw to eat a meal.

The senses of the Green Anaconda are very unique. The eyes are protected by a layer of skin called the Brille . It helps the Green Anaconda see better. The Green Anaconda has very sharp teeth . It holds an animal in a inescapble grip. The Green Anaconda hunts by night, and preying on large animals like deer. The Green Anaconda's eyesight and hearing are very poor but the snake is sensitive to vibrations, to feel animals moving towards them. It enjoys cool jungle rivers.

The Green Anaconda's skin is hunted down for the use of shoes, handbags, and clothing. It is also collected for the exotic pet trade. It has black and light brown spots on brown skin. The colors mix well, and that makes the skin so popular. The Green Anaconda's rain-forest habitat is under pressure from pollution. This beautiful animal is slowly disappearing from our world.
