Mayan Math
| The Mayans, though it doesn't seem so, had a very easy numeral system. As opposed to our ten symbols, they used a mere three. Out of those three there is a horizontal line, a dot and a oval symbol. Here is what they represent: | |||

| The Mayan number system is based on twenty, not ten like our number system is, so they don't use a different symbol until they reach the number 20. You count by groups of 20 instead of groups of 10! | |||
