You can find a giant outline of Stonehenge, rising above the slopes of Salisbury Plain, England. Stonehenge is easy to find and visit because the standing stones lie beside a main road. Stonehenge is known for its size. The tallest stones weigh about 50 tons and are about 22 feet high. It was built in 3200 B.C. (Before Christ). Some people think that there was a large building. They think it may have been used for dead bodies. In 1958 scientists dug out stones and rebuilt them.
Easter Island is just what
its name says. It's and island discovered on Easter day. But
it's very mysterious. It's full of stone statues as tall as a two
story house. Many have fallen face down over the years. The
people of Easter Island lived in crude huts and sailed the ocean in rough
canoes. Easter Island is a real mystery.
All around the world there are circles of stones. Nobody knows why they were built. Some believe they are there to release concentration of earth's force and spread fertility all over the world.
When they began to dig again the next spring, the work became more difficult and they began to find more wooden planks every 10 feet down. The digging went on for years and the men grew up. Finally they worked with a company that had all kinds of mining equipment. They dug and dug and found a layer of ship waterproofing putty, then a layer of charcoal, then a third layer of fiber that grows only in the tropics, but no treasure!
They had dug 95 feet when something new happened. The workers went home and when they came back the next day 60 feet of water had flooded the hole. They decided to use a drill that brought up samples of whatever it drilled through. When they brought it up, there were bits of gold chain in it. The water is still in the hole today and the treasure was never found.

What is a crystal skull? It is a little piece of quartz crystal shaped in the shape of a skull. They have been found in Indian ruins, Mexico, or Central America. Could it be true that crystal skulls have contained information from thousands of years ago?
Could it be that they are
what we today, right now, call a computer? Those are just some of
the questions people or scientists ask. It is going to remain a mystery
until someone actually figures out what they are.

Snowflakes are always six-sided
and no two are the same. It is still a mystery how they form.
Scientists have not yet figured it out.

The screaming skull is said to be the remains of a man who said if he was not buried on his farm his soul would not rest. He wasn't buried on his farm and bad things started to happen. Screams came from the grave. So finally they dug him up and buried him on his farm.
But the people didn't like
having a body in their yard. So they dug him up and put him somewhere
else. Screams again came from the grave he was buried
in. Their crops failed and cattle died. By now there was only
a skeleton left. The family finally put him on the table in
their house. Today only the skull is left. And that's where
he is today.
