About Us
We are fourth and fifth grade
students at Sherwood Elementary School in Highland Park,
Illinois. We entered ThinkQuest
Junior, which is a
contest for 4th through 6th graders to design educational
websites. We chose to do a disability website because we
have students at our school with some of the same
disabilities that we talk about.
At our website you will find
interviews, book reviews, links, activities and reports
about famous people with disabilities. You will learn
about causes and effects, and how kids with disabilities
fit into our life at Sherwood school.
We worked very hard on this
project. We came before school, after school, and skipped
recess. If we didn't have children with disABILITIES at
our school I don't think we would have done a website on
this topic.
