Construction Set to Begin SoonThe temple will be sponsored by the Lydian King Croesus and be built by greek architect Chersiphron The temple will have a rectagular platform as a base. Its demensions are 260 ft by 430 ft. Steps will allow people to climb to this first and only floor. Standing on the base, there will be a total of 127 each 60 feet tall, Ionic columns. The Ionic columns will be cylindrical, the strongest in the business, and will support the roof. In the very center of the temple, there will be a house of the goddess where the goddess will accept offerings. |
